A port of the Playstation emulator PCSX to the Wii has been released. Release notes are:Some planned works:
* Speed up. I have some ideas how to speed it up, but it will take some time. (WIP)
* Better UI. Only after speed up.
Known problems:
* Rarely "Code dump" with "Show FPS" turned on. Not high priority, so just turn it off. Downloads available at WiiBrew.

A new version of BootMii Configuration Editor, an application which allows you to edit the BootMii config file from the Wii, has been released. Changes are: * Resolved a bug that caused a code dump if the bootmii directory did not exist. The bootmii directory is checked for existence on startup and the user is prevent from making changes if the directory does not exist

GuitarsOnFire is a GuitarHero clone which uses FretsOnFire compatible songs. Here are the list of known bugs: * No way to fail yet
* Sometimes (very rarely) crashes when loading a song
* With only an USB keyboard you cannot start a song, as the keyboard doesn't have a 'menu'/'+' key mapped.
* Some random tick noise at the end of a song.
* Lots of noise when loading a song without a song.ogg Downloads on WiiBrew.

"Super Transbal 2" is the sequel of "Transball" and "Transball 2", Inspired in THRUST type of games (and concretely in ZARA THRUSTA for the Amiga 500). In each level of Transball, the goal is to find the SPHERE, capture it and carry it to the upper part of the level. The main obstacle is the gravity, that impulses you towards the ground. But many other obstacles, canons, tanks, doors, etc. will try to make difficult your journey. Downloads available at OpenHandhelds.

Notaz released a port of Exophase's Gameboy Advance emulator for the Wiz. Changes are:- Fixed clock and scaling config saving.
- Fixed occasional crash on first ROM load on 1.1 firmware.
- Added LCD timing setup code, which can be controlled through 'pollux_dpc_set' environment vatiable (see gpsp.gpe wrapper script). Downloads available at OpenHandhelds.

Our review of the M3i Zero has been delayed for a week or two due to manufacturing issues. We do have some good news though, instead of the M3i Zero we will be able to review the R4i RTS which is basically the R4i with a Real Time Save function. The R4i RTS has just been released today over at GameKool so be sure to check them out here for all the details and to order one if you are interested. We should have the R4i RTS review online towards the end of next week if everything goes to plan.

Two new versions of Paradroid SDL to the Wii were released over the weekend. Changes are: * 06/21/09 - Problem resolved. v0.6 released. Happy Father's Day!
o Thanks to Teknecal for his help tracking down this issue. The problem did not affect my Wii, but some Wii's or SD cards apparently do not work with the old libfat path style that lacks the sd: prefix. Full sd: paths have been added to all files. That is the only change in this release and should fix compatibility.
* 06/20/09 - Problem reported with v0.5
o Teknecal has reported a problem during launching and I'm working on a solution. Visit WiiBrew for more information and the downloads.

PSX4wiz Test version

A new test version of the Playstation emulator for the Wiz has been released Release notes are:This is the preliminar version of my port of PSX4ALL, based in the code published by Zodttd. The emulator is compiled using standard SDL functions and works in Wiz now. You can load games and play. It has been tested in the prototype of a friend.
The code is compiled in dynamic link mode using the GP2X SDK. This way works in both GP2X and Wiz consoles, but is not using direct hardware access and isn't optimized for Wiz. I have created a Wiz SDL wrapper for the minilib library based in the GP2X and Pandora wrapper code.
This is a developer's test version, can have bugs and isn't optimized for the hardware. Here is the executable is you want to test it, and a photo (low res) of the emu working. You can download the release from OpenHandhelds, also give feedback via GP32x forum post.

A port of the Picross style game GhostPix has been released for the Wiz. Max must solve some things called 'Ghostpix', or ghost pictures. At first he won't see anything of the picture, but using logic and his ghost powers he will reveal the hidden picture. Downloads at OpenHandhelds.
