PS1 and PSX are the same. One is just smaller.
Can't give ya any places cuz it'd still be telling you how to obtain stuff illegally :x

No one here will help you download commercially released games for the Playstation or any other system. However, I am sure there are people here that could help walk you through ripping games you already own.

I downloaded UDMH from the official site and enabled it (never had it before, so I have the demo 7 days), but I got an error amounting to "GPU CACHE. MORE RAM NEEDED" when I run pPSX (after enabling UDMH).

i have been watching this emulator for a while. Ive got a question. When it says psx is that the sony playstation 1 or that sony psx thing that is like smaller. If so is there even a difference and i have tried pdroms but those arnt like games or anything can somebody pm me a real place i am not asking for warez or whatever i own alot of the games but i cant rip em cause there like damaged and stuff being over like 9 years old or whatever

pdroms.de has a game called 'Sporting Clay' which is a Playstation game. It is a homebrew title though so it doesn't look very professional, but it works with the emulator.

PSX was an alternate name or slang name for the original Playstation. Sony released a unit in Japan a year or two ago called PSX. It was an integrated Playstation, DVR (digital video recorder), and I believe a DVD player or burner. The pPSX in this thread is referring to psx the alternate name for the Playstation.

Exactly how much memory does this need now?

The new GPU is causing a lot of problems for me... it is faster... but there are just a lot ofp roblems. For one, there is a lot of "flashing" (not frame skipping). The max frame rate i get for final fantasy tactics now seems higher...at 7 FPS...

Great work, but it can use some improvement ^_^

Ok, This is very bad. I downloaded that UDMH thing and sync'd it up, after the sync I got a promt telling me I had to reboot. Now I am in an endless loop of booting, getting an error and then having to reset again.

The error says: DataMgr.c, Line:3762,NULL dbH passed

Does anyone have an idea of what to do? :( :( :(

Ya no, I like that ZodiacGamer is growing, but does it have to be with freakin idiots?? There should be an entry exam.

Ok, I was super close to hard reseting my Zodiac for the FIRST time, yes, first time. But I checked one last time and for some reason the error is not coming back now. I have no freaking clue what just happened.

All that matters is that my Zod works, life is good.

EDIT: Strike that....the error is back as soon as I tried to enable bluetooth again. I'm going to bite the bullet and hard reset. This sucks. <_<

Have you tried safe resetting? I think it's Home+Reset, don't take my word for it though, check your manual.

Well, I did a hard reset and Hotsync is uploading everything back onto my Zod, so no real harm done. I'd have to assume that since I had never ran into this error before installing UDMH, that UDMH caused my problem...

Try installing it on a card. It seems to work on it and will be safer to remove.

The GPU core allocates just about 16mb of ram. It's the maxs the Zodiac can do at one time. If after using the UDMH program you still get a gpu error try freeing some internal ram.

Glad to hear it runs faster for you all. Working on the graphic glitches.

DAYAM! Resident Evil now displays all red colors as blue, character models are effed up, and evrything get glitchy sometimes.

However, it is a lil faster!

WHOA! HUGE EDIT! I HAVE TO USE CAPS LOCK FOR THIS ONE! RESIDENT EVIL RUNS AT LIKE 30-40 FPS IN GAME! BEFORE I WAS ONLY TALKING ABOUT MOVIES! DAMN! AMAZING!

I think I have narrowed my issue down to UDMH. Any time I install it my Zod gets that error I mentioned before and prompts a reboot. So, I have to remove that specific PRC file from my Backup folder in the Hotsync program, then recover my lost files. I have done that twice now, so I am left thinking that my Zod and UDMH do not get along. Am I the only one with this problem? Everything else works just fine.
