Please use the DSpec Feedback thread for chit-chat
Get 0.2b here
0.2b should fix problems on all media devices except for G6 (coming soon).
Please post your experiences.
List DS type, Flashme revision (if applicable, or passme device), media device, firmware revision, and whether it works for you or not. If you have it working, please provide the method that you used to launch the emulator.
All help is appreciated, and those that go out of their way to help others will be on the 0.3 beta testers list.

I think that this will also fix it for other media cards, including those with Supercards at firmware release 1.70. As Asterix* says, check the site tomorrow, or maybe the WIP thread later.

Info for you all who may use the GBAMP (Movie player or variants):
Version 02b still would not work on my GBAMP CF version - black screens still, however if you have Wireless Multiboot Capabililty, try the following:
Rather than run the dspec off my GBAMP, I am booting my NDS whilst holding Select to stop the GBAMP CF from booting so it goes to the NDS Boot screen (clock calendar, pico chat etc), and then choosing DS Download Play and sending the DSpec02b.NDS file over Wifi to the NDS. DSpec then loads and works, and using file open, I can access the GBAMP file system to get my SNA files!!
I have tried dspec 0.2a aswell over wifi but that still crashes with black screens, so whatever has altered in 2b has kinda worked, just not 100% yet on the GBAMP CF.

Have run DSOrganise from within Moonshell and ran DSPec02b from under DSOrganse succesfully!
When running under DSOrganise it shows INITIALISING FAT and sits there for about 15 seconds, then some other text pops up and DSPec loads fine.
One small glitch it seems to have though is that I get screen corruption on the bottom screen when I call up the file selector, however games still load and seem to work.

Had exactly the same problem. Tryed it on two Kingston cards 1 Gb, and on one Sandisk 2 gb. On a M3 mini V2

Metal_Spirit has gave me some very interesting information which may lead to a possible fix for these issues. I am currently investigating with a view to a permanent fix.

Don't know whether this helps to narrow things down or not:
Following the problem that I had with DSpec, I tried loading DSOrganise and when DSO loads I get the error messages:
'Please wait... Initializing FAT
Trying NinjaSD'
After a few seconds the screen updates to show an error message:
'You are not using a card that is compatible with Chism's FAT library. Please run this program using a GBAMP or other compatible card!'
I don't know whether DSpec also uses Chism's drivers? if so, possibly this is bad news for those of us who are having problems.
I would be happy to help with testing now if you like.

Only some games (like footbal manager and dictator) don't work.
That could easily be bacause of the snapshots.
I have great difficulty making snapshots from tzx.
Maybe you could support those file formats because WOS don't have snapshots
And one other issue
How do you get a backspace. If I try to press two keys at once (caps and 0),
I get the letter t (ore something)

Which version of DSO did you use? The M3 needs an older 'green' version, not sure of the link just now.

Thanks for spotting that - I have tried the Green version of DSO and it works much better.
I have made a small step forwards - I can now load DSpec from DSO and I can get past the first screen without DSpec locking up.
Managed to type in a 2 line program and run the code - brings back memories!
However, when I use the File Manager, the roms don't show up.
When I click the 'i' icon in DSpec, I get the following message:
'Initialize FAT failed!
Media device detected: MP CF'
Weird - it's almost seems as though it thinks that I'm using a CF card when actually I'm using miniSD (Moonshell also seems to think I'm using CF) - very confusing..
