Please continue with DSpec WIP chat in this thread.
The original thread was causing performance problems on the boards due to it's excessive size.

Thank...
-HiVE.

That must be the reason why half of the time I had problems logging in....
Well, good to have a new tread, but how about some first hand comments on what's going on with DSpec ?Any new test builds ? I have to admit , it was funny to be a beta tester , with all that password finding little game and the occasional corrupted SD cards...:)

Well.. DLDI works nice, so there should be no more corrupted cards.
And, although I had a tough time with some passwords, I must admit it was funny.

well I couldnt wait any longer for a 1.70 supercard lite fix so I'm now on a fat DS testing the latest build.

very impressed by the stability of the touchscreen.

i'm sure any interface probs have been mentioned.

in terms of games compatibility seems very good.

WOTEF has an interesting quirk though. When the AI does a low block he teleports to the edge of the screen!

Yes, I am also interested in some news although the pressure has gone since Craig released his SpeccyDS 0.2a which is (after DLDI patching) indeed running on my G6 Lite. I still can't believe this, but it really runs fine and I also have now sound support and a working keyboard 8-)

But I'm still checking this board nearly every day although it has been quite quiet here the last weeks.

STYXDS is awesome, but still needs a lot of work. Anyway, that's a bit off topic, since itīs an ATARI ST emulator, and not a Spectrum emulator, and shurely not DSPEC :)

ARGHHH.. I hated the quizz... It was funny to change messages with people to find the answer, but that was all!

Problem is that "famous" Spectrum games were not famous to everybody, specially foreign people (ouside uk and north america) wich had lower access to magazines like the famous (i miss her) Crash.

But hey... Whatever... As long as there is a new version. Iīm one of few with an M3 wich had the chance to see DSPEC, since The Hive has never released that version, and i can hardly wait for a new version with full m3 support and specially 128k support (man, how i miss the 128k tunes).

Hive, Just to let you know I will be getting a R4 (www.r4ds.net) in the post in a couple of days so I can test with that and both the SC SD and CF, if you want that is. Looking forward to a new release.

Yeah post your R4 impressions, since fresh info on the emulator is almost nonexistent... let's keep waiting
that TheHive has time to update us when he can. Let's hope 128k compatibility will come in this year 2007!
