The wait is over and the entries for the GBAX 2007 Coding Competition are now available to download! We had a massive turnout this year with 60 entries, the highest in our five year history! We would like to say a very big thanks to everyone that took part; the entrants, splash screen designers and web site owners that helped to promote the competition. Pease help to promote the competition by clicking on the Digg link on the entries page.

You can find all the entries (in alphabetical order) entered into the competition on the official homepage at http://gbax.gp2x.de. Please try all the entries for your console(s) and don't judge an entry by it's screen shot as a game doesn't have to have amazing graphics to be great. Feel free to talk about the entries on our forum posts on the Emuholic/Emuboards forums here (guest posting allowed) or on the GP32x forums.

The winners will be announced within a week or two once Craig and myself (Guyfawkes) have judged each entry.

Finally, please remember to visit GP2X.co.uk (GBAX) who provide the great prizes for the competition. As you will probably notice the majority of entries are for the GP2X which is a very active and popular development scene. You can purchase a GP2X from GP2X.co.uk and try all the entries ;)

Hey Emuholic, Hi GuyFawkes,
I'm Xandu, XMP coder for the PSP.

I wish everyone good luck in the competition and I would like to add some notes on how to avoid XMP crashing:
Notes:
-Make sure it's in PSP/GAME150 to work perfectly.
-Make sure your music is in PSP/MUSIC or MUSIC (either of them Mp3s outside subfolders if you want them to show up in Music Quiz)
-Make sure the Mp3 files don't have weird characters like : ウェブ.mp3.
-Read the User Manual troubleshooting section for any other problems ;).

Thanks all, good luck everyone!
--Xandu.

Quick name correction for the entries page: "DSOrganiser" is actually "DSOrganize"

Is there like a torrent where I can bag all the entries at once?

a combined pack for all the entries split by platform (GP2X, PSP and DS) will be online in approx 20 minutes, just uploading it now.

no need for a GP32 pack ? ;)

sorry, but I'm sad :(
it seems that nobody has tested (or want to test?) my (poor & little) gp32 contribution...

only one GP32 entry which we were very surprised with, donskeeto wanted the gp32 to be included in the compo as he was writing an entry. but donskeeto had to drop the project as he got sidetracked with something else. so getting another gp32 was very nice! there is some feedback on your entry on the gp32x forums i think.
